Water-Soluble Vitamins and Nutrients

Because water-soluble vitamins and nutrients dissolve in water, the continuous supply your body needs requires a steady daily intake, from the foods you eat, the supplements you take, or from a combination of foods and supplements. The 9 water-soluble vitamins are C, B12, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, tryptophan, pantothenic acid, biotin, and folic acid.  The 4 fat soluble vitamins are A, D, E, & K. It is possible to find some of these fat soluble vitamins in water soluble form.  All bodies are different. Be sure to check with your healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet or nutritional supplements.
